Episode #2

Jenny, sad and tired, decided to wait for him in his studio. She sits in her pouffe, takes grandpa’s animal book and starts to browse.
Grandpa is never late, today we had to read about ruminants. Do you think something’s happened?
The animals, visibly scared by something, try to answer her back all at the same time and what Jenny can hear is just a confused murmur.
Quiet please! One at a time! What is happening?
The Winter Garden!” “Ask to the old Giraffe, she’s the one who first came here and she always knows everything!” Poor Grandpa Fussi!” “Run to the Garden Jenny, run!
The voices keep on overlap each other, fading back to an indistinct chatter.
Jenny knows that those voices are not just fantasy in her head, they are real even if the other kids at school make fun of her saying that she’s mad as a cow.
As quick as she can she stands up and starts running towards the greenhouse behind CasaStella.

The so called Winter Garden is nothing but grandpa’s greenhouse, a place where he keeps all the exotic stuffed animals in their natural habitat. A kind of still zoo.
Jenny walks steadily to Dolores, repeating what she heard in CasaStella and climbing up to her long neck.
Dolores is firm and reassuring as usual:
“Go to the Wise Shaman, you can find him at the end of the road under the Sea that begins from the Great Tree. We will tell you where to search for grandpa Fussi.”
